Counselling Service

We provide a caring atmosphere and a safe, confidential space for counselling. Whatever a women’s concerns are, she will be seen. Our counsellors are professionally trained and have experience with a wide range of issues including domestic violence, sexual abuse, relationships, parenting, bereavement and depression. Our approach is accepting and non-judgemental, bringing an understanding from a woman’s perspective.
Our counsellors offer a supportive, woman centred relationship where the experiences a woman has had in life get heard and understood. It is a safe place for feelings to be explored.

The Centre now provides counselling in the following outreach centres;

  • Carndonagh

  • Gortahork/Falcarragh

  • Dungloe

  • Killybegs

  • Donegal Town

  • Laghey

  • Ballyshannon


Counselling is free and appointments are made through the Centre by phoning 074 9124985.

Referral can also be made through Donegal Women’s Domestic Violence Service and Inishowen Women’s Outreach who offer crisis and support services for women who experience violence.
